For generations, families throughout the Adirondacks have trusted Nygard's for perfectly cut, locally grown Christmas trees — and the dependable home repair services that keep their houses standing through every season.
Every tree is hand-selected from our local stands and the surrounding Adirondack forests — never baled, never dried out, just freshly cut and ready for your home.
The gold standard — dense branches, soft needles, and a classic citrus fragrance that fills your entire home.
Tall, stately, and deeply green. The traditional choice for families who want that classic Christmas tree silhouette.
A native Adirondack treasure — long, feathery needles and a graceful, natural form that feels like the forest itself.
When the holidays end, we don't. Nygard's has been providing dependable home repair and maintenance services to the Shushan community for years — because a well-kept home is a happy home, all year round.
From leaky faucets to sticking doors, drywall patches to deck repairs — we handle the jobs you've been putting off, done right the first time.
Outlet repairs, light fixture installation, holiday light setup and removal, and basic electrical troubleshooting for your home or business.
Fall cleanup, snow removal prep, gutter cleaning, and winterization services to protect your property through every season.
Interior and exterior painting, trim work, staining, and small renovation projects. Quality finish work that stands up to Adirondack weather.
Shelving, fencing, small carpentry, furniture assembly — if it needs building or fixing around your home, we're the call to make.
When something breaks and can't wait — burst pipe, broken window, storm damage — reach out. We'll do our best to get to you quickly.
"A local institution that truly cares about quality and community."
Nygard's Christmas Trees started with a simple idea: bring the finest locally grown evergreens to the Shushan community, and do it the right way — no rushed cuts, no old stock, just honest work and trees that last through the entire season.
What began as a seasonal stand has grown into a trusted local business serving families across the southern Adirondacks. Along the way, we expanded into home repair and maintenance services — because the same hands that know how to select a perfect tree also know how to keep a home in great shape.
We're not a chain. We're not a warehouse operation. We're your neighbors. And we take pride in every tree we cut and every repair we make.
"We've been buying our Christmas trees from Nygard's for years. The quality is always consistent, the staff is friendly, and there's nothing like walking through rows of fresh-cut trees to get that holiday feeling."
